Driving Lessons Should Be Fun

Thank you for stopping by. My name is Ian Cooke, and I am an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) offering a range of learner and qualified driver courses in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.

I teach people how to drive safely, not just how to pass a Driving Test. I structure my lessons around my pupils’ requirements, so that everyone feels comfortable, enjoys their driving lessons and learns effectively, in the shortest time possible. My pupils are often ready for their tests in 30 - 35 hours (from scratch), which is far fewer than the average of 40 - 45 hours (DSA figures). Why don’t you come along for a trial lesson, and see why?

My pupils can benefit from support to help prepare for their theory test, which involves online multiple choice questions, and the actual DSA hazard perception video clips. I am also Pass Plus registered, and offer motorway lessons and other driver training courses for the full licence holder.

I really enjoy watching my pupils progress from beginner to confident Test Candidate, and this enthusiasm rubs off and makes my lessons something to look forwards to.

After 18 months in the Blackpool area with What Car Driving School (that’s where you will have seen me), I am now operating a fully independent driving school, running my recently acquired Hyundai i30 Comfort training car, possibly one of the highest specification learner driver training vehicles in the area.

Now that I am not burdened with franchise fees, you will find that I can be pleasingly competetive, but I can assure you that I work up to a standard, not down to a price!
